Does anyone know when the new port is supposed to be put in in Punta Prima. Im thinking of buying a property there on the beachside as it seems pretty upmarket and I believe the new port will cause the prices to rocket. As it is with prices being so good for us cash buyers it really seems to be the place to be. I noticed on a recent visit that there are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distances of apartments and villas that are rented out for cheap holidays so Im going to rent one this summer and take my time looking around. Does anyone have a place they want to rent out, I never took nos. down when I was in Punta Prima, duh! I was too busy having a good time. That place, the Nautilus right on the edge of the rocks beside the beach did brilliant cocktails and the food was fab. I believe one of the bars has a beach bar at night there where they place music and have rattan furniture for everyone to sit on, just off one of the walkways, Im gonna give that a go too. I really could do with a cheap apartment rental in Punta Prima so if there is someone who has a place and is willing to give me a cheap deal I would be very interested. I would need to see pictures though first.
I also have a friend looking for a long term rental in the Punta Prima area, it doesnt have to be on the beach side as I know most of these are luxury apartments but if there is one or two on the other side of the N332 where there are those two big supermarkets and all the bars and restaurants within walking distance it would be brill. There is a bus service there too I think but I suppose I would get some information on that when I get over there. Is it true that you can access it by Murcia airport as well as Alicante. I went into Alicante airport last time and someone mentioned that you could get flights to Murcia and it was in fact nearer
