Punta Prima is the first stop for tourists alter leaving the cosmopolitan town of Torrevieja. Punta Prima means “first point” and this is indeed the first point of tourism within 2 miles of this local buzzy town. While there are plans in the near future for a busy port area in Punta Prima, at present it has a small cove with a beachside walkway that stretches for miles along the coast passing Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campoamor beaches along the way. It is a walker or even stroller´s paradise. Accommodation in the beachside of Punta Prima is of luxurious quality and the recent development of the area has now firmly put Punta Prima on the map with a McDonalds to its name. This is situated in the local commercial centre of (Put in the name of the centre here) which also has a large supermarket, bars, restaurants and miscellaneous shops to keep both tourists and residents supplied with all they need to make their stay pleasant.
Cheap accommodation, ie cheap apartments for holiday rentals or long lets can also be found in the area for those on a budget holiday or simply working locally and watching the pennies. The beauty of this general area is that eating out is cheap with food and drink being amongst the cheapest in Europe and with most bars having nightly entertainment, a cheap fun holiday can be experienced in Punta Prima by all.
