Beaches of Costa Blanca

Here on the Orihuela Costa we are blessed to have several beautiful white powdery beaches and hidden coves. Many of which have been awarded the prestigious blue flag status and 3 of which have won the 'Q' Award which is a symbol of excellence in the condition and the services offered on the beaches.

Punta Prima

This cove beach is a favourite of regular holiday makers, it is narrow beach which is set on 2 different levels and accessed by ramps and stairs. Punta Prima beach has several beach bars, cafes and restaurants along the upper level promenade and on the lower level it has one small and one large fine white sand beach and rocky coves to enjoy. The beach is situated on the most Northerly part of the Orihuela Costa and is on the paseo which is a lovely coastal walk, so it will either be your first or last stop depending which direction you are walking! Punta Prima beach can be found just off the N332 just behind Punta Prima restaurants and shops.

Playa Flamenca

Playa Flamenca is the next beach along from Punta Prima, it is a blue flag award winning beach with fine sand and is a favourite of sun-seekers and bathers alike. The facilities on this beach are excellent with parking facilities, special access for less able people, play areas, toilets, life guard towers and plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars situated on the beach-front Plaza. La Zenia

This is one of the busiest beaches in the Orihuela Costa, it has 2 large beaches either side of the hotel and has all sorts of water sports to enjoy. Here you can enjoy the fine white sand and bathe in the warm waters of the Mediterranean as well as take a thrilling ride on a jet ski, banana boat and much more. There is a shallow area which is perfect for the children to safely have fun in the sea, and the deeper area more suited to adults. This beach can be found to the right of La Zenia beach just before Cabo Roig Beach.
